Arthur's Seat

Arthur's Seat
I'm not sure what other people were climbing up when I read some of the reviews, because it was very clearly marked which path lead to Arthur's Seat and which one didn't. Look at the map and you'll be fine. It was a pretty steep hike, or maybe I'm just super out of shape (but I don't think I am). The views at the top were spectacular. You could see the entire city and the surrounding area. And you could see out to the water. It was again extremely windy at the top, so be careful. And make sure to take some time and take in all the views. On the way down (or up, we stopped both times), stop at the ruins of St Anthony's chapel. Oh, and just a general reminder, make sure you have a camera.
